YaPB
Advanced Counter-Strike bots with waypoint/graph navigation — fill your server with realistic bots that buy, plant, defuse and use chatter.
Version: v4.4.957
Installation
Install from the game panel (recommended)
Step 1) Open your console and select your Counter-Strike 1.6 server.
Step 2) Go to TOOLS → Modules (the in-panel installer).
Step 3) Find YaPB in the list and click INSTALL — the panel downloads it and places every file for you automatically.
Step 4) Set the CVARs / configuration shown below (if any), then RESTART the server.
Manual installation (FTP / File Manager)
Step 1) Download the archive above and unzip it on your computer.
Step 2) Open your console → File Manager (or FTP) and upload the yapb folder into cstrike/addons/.
Step 3) Open cstrike/addons/metamod/plugins.ini and register the module on a new line:
linux addons/yapb/bin/yapb.so
Step 4) Restart the server. Confirm it loaded with meta list in the server console.

Configuration
YaPB has its own config set in addons/yapb/conf/:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
yapb.cfg | Main settings (quota, skill, buying, difficulty). |
difficulty.cfg | Per-difficulty skill tuning. |
weapon.cfg / chatter.cfg | Weapon preferences and bot voice chatter. |
lang/*.cfg | Bot names and chat phrases per language. |
File:
cstrike/addons/yapb/conf/yapb.cfg— edit it in the File Manager, then change the map or restart the server to apply.
Commands
| Command | Access | Description |
|---|---|---|
yapb add | Admin | Add a bot to the server. |
yapb fill | Admin | Fill the server with bots up to the quota. |
yapb kickall | Admin | Remove all bots. |
yb_quota <n> | CVAR | Set how many bots to keep on the server. |
Notes
Bots need navigation graph files for the current map. YaPB downloads official graphs automatically on first join if the server has outbound HTTP (QGS servers do).
