HitBox Fix

Fixes player hitboxes so that shots register where you actually aim — a must-have on high-FPS competitive servers.

Installation

Step 1) Open your console and select your Counter-Strike 1.6 server.

Step 2) Go to TOOLS → Modules (the in-panel installer).

Step 3) Find HitBox Fix in the list and click INSTALL — the panel downloads it and places every file for you automatically.

Step 4) Set the CVARs / configuration shown below (if any), then RESTART the server.

Step 1) Download the archive above and unzip it on your computer.

Step 2) Open your console → File Manager (or FTP) and upload the hitboxfixer folder into cstrike/addons/.

Step 3) Open cstrike/addons/metamod/plugins.ini and register the module on a new line:

linux addons/hitboxfixer/hitbox_fix_mm_i386.so

On Windows use addons/hitboxfixer/hitbox_fix_mm.dll instead.

Step 4) Restart the server. Confirm it loaded with meta list in the server console.

Configured in hbf.cfg:

Setting	Description
`hbf_enabled`	`1` = enabled, `0` = disabled.
`hbf_debug`	`0` off, `1` debug, `2` full debug (leave at `0` in production).

File: cstrike/addons/hitboxfixer/hbf.cfg — edit it in the File Manager, then change the map or restart the server to apply.
