Counter-Strike: 2 (or CS2 for short) is a multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Valve, with the game being a reworked edition of its now-defunct version Counter-Strike Global Offensive.
The game has two teams competing against each other: the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists. The two sides are tasked with eliminating the other, while completing separate objectives. The Terrorists, depending on the game mode, must either plant a bomb or protect the hostages, while the Counter-Terrorists must either prevent the bomb from being planted by defusing the bomb or rescue the hostages.
